I just killed a red enemy and got a tier 1 trinket of power that gave me 13% damage. I then killed another enemy, and got another tier 1 trinkets of power that gave me 13% damage, but it showed up on screen like it replaced itself? If it's not better, why am i picking it up, am I missing something?

Additionally on more than one occasion, I've had a lower tier item with better stats than higher tier items, so when I pick up the higher tier item, for some reason the stats on it are worse sometimes, and it screws me.

long story short i dont think 4050 or i5 is this much weak
i have literally played every AAA game till now
from this laptop that i have
and i dont think that it cant handle a game like battlefield 6 from my opinion
i think its something in the settings or a beta issue which many players will be suffering from

All they confirmed was that their was a bug in the overlay and that it was fixed in the most recent Beta build.

And we are back with the subjective reading and ignoring everything that does not fit your PoV. Are you using chatGPT for summaries? Because you ignore anything that matters.

2. issue on other games too
3. valve fixed on latest beta
4. no longer crash, because no longer access to protected memory area

It's important to not misrepresent people. This is exactly what the Valve representative stated

There was a bug in an update to the overlay in the Steam Client beta on 8/4. This is now fixed in the new beta build as of 8/6 and it should be safe to re-enable the overlay as long as you are updated (or if you opt out of Steam Client beta builds).

At no point did they make any mention of ANYTHING that corroborates the claims that you made:

I'm just glad that the bug is fixed. I personally was not affected by it but the OP and many other were.
