Nothing you just suggested is even remotely accurate. Private server admins can only catch the more obvious cheaters, and usually after they've already caused trouble. Possibly a ton of trouble, first.



Match making should already be able to find an optimal latency server, if it was programmed properly.

Match making shouldn't take too long, either, if they have proper sorts and optimized algorithms in play whether lots or fewer players. It may take a couple of seconds, like 1-10, but going and manually finding a server generally takes a couple of seconds as well and creates player skill biases, and other player behavioral problems.

Further, private servers are not guaranteed to be properly filled up unlike matchmaking based servers so the waiting to fill up issue isn't exactly so black and white.

As for the lack of a campaign, "supposedly" this is because the combination of feedback and statistics from players showed such an extremely small number of players actually meaningfully engaged the campaigns of the prior games that it was essentially a huge waste of resources that could be used on the multiplayer, or more likely just to save them money as they're probably not really adding to the multiplayer because of its removal. They do like to cut corners, after all, as we've also seen with their lack of fixes mid-beta in each phase on major issues, major technical state problems, poor map design, and so forth. You would think they would learn after the prior BF catastrophe but apparently no, that isn't a thing for them.

Dude the cheating in the events is sponsored. On community servers they often have a real intertest in pushing cheaters out and observe night and day, thats diffrent ;-)

Sponsored cheaters in million dollar esport events you say? They also get publicly blasted and have their public image destroyed when those events put on a show of them being caught too I'm sure you will claim?
