Hello, I have been experiencing dramatic lag spikes on my laptop while its plugged in. The problem only occurs while my laptop is charging, and can be recreated every time without fail. I have an MSI A15 thin, if that helps. I just attempted a possible fix found in a different thread where I added the game as a customized setting for high power only. If there are any other possible fixes please let me know, and if there's any other information you need from me I can get it. Thank you!

Nobody actually asked you whether or not you liked Stardew Valley. There was no need to post your review and share your opinion. You call people who defend their favorite game toxic. I call people who go on the internet and criticize and tear apart someone's passion project toxic.

Let's rephrase your question so you can see how truly simple it is to ask what you want to ask without all the troublesome issues:

"I'm looking for advice on whether or not I will be glad I bought this game. I saw a, b, and c in the previews, which look really cool. However, I've played similar games before, and I just didn't enjoy x, y, and z. Does this game have those same issues?"

See, it's really easy to get input without tearing apart something other people love. There was no need to reference any specific game in order to find out what you wanted.

Who are you calling toxic here with that oversensitive cry-bully reaction you have shown? You are exactly the type of toxic "cozy" player here that I mentioned in my first post. Trying to invalide and then word-police somebody's opinion just because they didn't like another game. OP isn't even needlessly unreasonable in their criticism. Of course people compare games and say "didn't like that, but I liked that, will I like this?", which is what they did here. Because everyone is going to recommend SDV the moment someone mentions farming sims.

None of what OP wrote was "tearing into something". "Passion project" also doesn't make you immune to criticism, people are allowed to not like some entertainment piece and voice that. Especially when that "Passion Project" asks for money to play it. Without criticism nothing gets improved.

DWU started out far far more bare bones than DW2. It took most of a decade to go from the most basic skirmish mode with limited races and mechanics to the wonderful package that is DWU. Also each new expansion was full price and not dlc priced. DW2 started out with 80% of what DWU offers and is now almost caught up after only a few years. The pace of development for DW2 is far faster than DWU.

You can see it didnt take that long. And in that age, game development would take much less time, it didnt take 10-15 years between sequels like nowdays. Look at mass effect, baldurs gate 1,2, dragon age, etc.. 2-3 years between releases.

Now i have to wait 15% of my entire life to play a full distant worlds 2 game. THAT is what bothers me. It bothers me i have to wait years just to play a new race.

either 2 or 3.. I can jam to a cyber's world or ruder buster ANY day of the week.
