Pick your poison. I'm not gonna go through them all. Filtered for PvP and high review scores. So many games just plain dead. Most of the dead games are usually not even on Steam anymore. Like Evolve which died, was revived, died, was revived and died again.

I remember seeing plenty of Steam discussions talking about how games have such high reviews and still died. Can't rember any of them but they are definitely in that list somewhere.

yeah reviews these day sadly count for almost nothing anymore, everything between mixed and very positiv is the same thanks to review botting, rage votes and other stuff. the player count itself (on steam) says a lot already, i was about to buy this game but i always look at the active player count before i do comit and a all time peak of 8000 people and an active 24h peak of 3500 people one week later is not very promising. what is kind of interesting though is the ratio of player to review since its almost the same with the 24h peak. still not a fan of playing against the same sweats over and over again which, depending on how the matchmaking works, might be a problem.

if this game dosnt go into F2P soon to try and get some player influx and generate income through micros, then it will most likely get shut down just based on server cost. (depending on how consol sells are going)
