1) Test Furmark for checking GPU (this utility is easily found via Google), its website:
https://geeks3d.com/furmark/
Testing Furmark (not in Fullscreen mode, but in the highest resolution and close to the maximum)
At the same time, monitor the temperature of the GPU and CPU + everything else (for example via HWiNFO)
In your case, Furmark testing takes 20 minutes (no longer needed).
Observe if anything happens during testing: ‘the screen was blinking’, there were ‘stucks’, ‘lags’ (this will begin to appear in a maximum of 5-10 minutes).

-> I ran the test, no problems, I checked the temperature, everything was normal.

2.1) Disable memory compression in Windows 10 (it won't hurt other games, and it will probably reduce lag)

-> I Googled how to do it and found these two methods, but apparently typing CompMemOn doesn't work, and the "Superfetch" service isn't listed.

Method 1: Edit the Registry Key
Open the Start menu and search for "Command Prompt" or "cmd."
Right-click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator."
In the Command Prompt window, type CompMemOff and press Enter.
To re-enable compression, you can type CompMemOn and press Enter.
Method 2: Disable the Superfetch Service
This method involves a component related to memory compression.
Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run window.
Type services.msc and press Enter.
In the "Services" window, scroll through the list and find the "Superfetch" service.
Double-click "Superfetch" or right-click and select "Properties."
In the "General" tab, locate the "Startup type" drop-down menu and select "Disabled."
Click the "Stop" button to stop the service, then click "Apply" and "OK."

4.2) Try enabling "English translation" in Icarus, reload the game, play it that way, and see if the crash problem persists. -> I don't know how to do it.

0.2) I hope you are on the main ‘branch’ of Icarus. With such errors, be sure to ‘send reports’ when Unreal crashes. -> I always submit errors

Not really, as i got my issue figured out in a few minutes without having to create an account on moddb or discord. Even on moddb they say not to ask on there because of how bad the site is.

I'm so glad I found this gem and it's all thanks to reviews and recommendations I found over the years on the internet.
I recommend checking out Demons Roots, it's my favorite JRPG ever and it's through it I heard about Black Souls.

There's sadly so few online communities left that haven't fully gone through cultural gentrification. It's very refreshing to see Black Souls' is one of them.

that sounds like a user/hardware issue. the game is not "unplayable" if you cant play the game its a hardware issue and maybe you should look at what you need to upgrade on your pc other then that stop making false comments. please and thank you.

You're actually being an entitled pos right now. The game is horribly optimized and unless you are running really high end hardware from about 2 years ago, or high mid to high hardware that is recent, the game doesn't run past 60fps on the lowest setting. Sorry babe, but not everyone has 2k-5k system. And considering how the game looks and runs in comparison to other newer games that also run on Unreal 5, it should not be as bad as it is. It also ran just fine during the stress test, then like complete shhh at launch. Saying the game runs fine shows how brain dead and disconnected you are, because it is super well know how poorly optimized Unreal 5 is in general. Check yourself and reflect before you ignorantly talk down to others.
