Yes I do very well when they make any sense. The ones they keep spamming don't. Let me give you an example:

Imagine if metaphors were food and you wanted to eat them, but a metaphor would cost 1 billion dollars and you starved to death because you didn't have 1 billion.

Now tell me if that level of logic sounds valid to you in making you think metaphors are a bad thing? Actual metaphors are related to reality and not some alternative reality imaginationland.

Katie decapitated feeder thing in alley. Back at hotel, mission pop-up slid in saying Katie killed it, but had image of Emily instead of Katie? Seemed a bit weird.

There doesn't seem to be a base game way to do this but you can with the mod Portrait Picker Chat Option. Then you just talk to them and select the portrait from the list you have.
