Please consider re mastering or remaking the old games and putting the series in one thing.

I know it's a different genre - flight simming, but have you guys heard of IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles? It's a bunch of different titles - Stalingrad, Normandy, Moscow, etc, but I like the way they handle it.
Everyone has to own Stalingrad as the base game, but some players might have just Normandy as their only expansion, others might have just Moscow, but they manage to not split the playerbase.
In SP, you only get the planes and maps for your specific title(s)
In MP, you get only the planes for your purchased titles(s), but you get ALL maps. And the servers will rotate through different era planesets, so everyone gets a chance to play.

Now, I get that isn't going to translate 1 to 1 for a FPS - but here's what the WW1 devs could do:
Have a free game launcher - that's your base game. But it doesn't actually do anything until your purchase your fronts - Isonzo, Gallipoli, (hopeful future Verdun remake). So instead of standalone games, these would be all DLCs instead.
Let's say I own Isonzo but not Gallipoli, and a Gallipoli map comes up in the rotation. I would get access to the rifleman class, but no other classes, no progression. Now since WW1 is mainly bolt actions, you can actually do a lot with the rifleman class. And if you're playing with friends who do own Gallipoli, you still get to play with them, you don't have to hop servers.
And for Single player, you just get the content of the front you purchased.

And what this would do is it wouldn't "hard split" the player base. And also let's say my friends really like playing Gallipoli, maybe I now want the WHOLE Gallipoli experience. So I'm incentivized to buy other expansions, and the devs would more likely get their revenue. But it's not 100% necessary for the player.
---------------------------------------------------------
I'm definitely concerned about splitting the niche. I'm worried that once Gallipoli comes out Isonzo will rapidly fade away. And the game's only 3 years old. If that does happen, it would be such a shame. It's a great little game.

OR - you could have a WW1 experience that steadily expands - the Italian and Middle Eastern Fronts, eventually the Western and Eastern Fronts again. Lots of theaters and content would certainly attract more players. Not massive amounts sure - hardcore WW1 is still niche - but I'm 100% sure a unified WW1 experience would have a larger playerbase than lots of little WW1 games. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

Like I get why Verdun and Tannenberg weren't bundled with Isonzo, those are just whole different generations of quality. But Blackmill should have have learned their lesson with Tannenberg. Gallipoli isn't out yet, it's not too late to change course.

You think I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around and talking out my ass but I come with receipts.

I noticed you skipped my previous receipts, so lets circle back to that.
You said:

And I pointed out:

How many more times do I need to pull up links that prove you wrong?

This proves nothing.
You have absolutely no room to talk about proof when you still haven't proven your outrageous claims over 24 hours later.

But this is the problem, while EOMM is owned by ea and that EXACT system is not in the game, what i am saying is another engagement system like enmatch/optimatch is in the game which basically is EOMM.
It's not though.
Again I have more data than most of you.
And I tested, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did I test from January to about late April.

It's all right there on my profile that everyone can see. Like I said to the other dude: point out the streaks. point out where "engagement optimization" played any part in my matches.

My losses come from 4 possible things:

a.) I'm playing like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that day or just being stubborn about switching because I'm working on a Lord

b.) a lack of communication (this is usually the biggest one. something like 95% of my Comp losses there was no team communication, and almost all of my Comp wins we were communicating and making callouts and coordinating)

c.) My teammates were ass and/or threw the match

d.) The enemy team was just better (not terribly hard since I'm stuck playing on a controller)

There's no engagement involved at all; unless you count the engagement between players of us communicating to get wins.

And it's extra delicious you claim it's in QP because I have almost 4k matches and only ~290 of them are in Comp.
I am literally the best source for Quick Play data you can find on the Steam forums.

So I say AGAIN, pull up my profile and find where engagement played any part.

You're making the claims, I'm providing data that I couldn't have falsified, so use the data to back your claims.

I promise I'll wait.
:steamthis:

You said EOMM is "definitely in QP" so right there is 4000 QP matches, prove it.
