I have been attacked by him for saying BA is not selling at an indie price tag. He accused me of not been fair and not posting in good faith because I mentioned Regiments and Warno are both cheaper (he said both are not multiplayer so I cannot compare them). So he is in my view very much unfair treating people and antagonizing them.

I do not however agree with people who want to harrass him for a game that should have been early access. We do not know who is responsible for seling BA as a ready title with a premium price tag and more so if you bought the early play version.

You've written something incredibly misleading here, probably to "punish" me for not responding to you. Lets start with exactly what you said:

Początkowo opublikowane przez Medicus:
A typical indie studio price is not $50. For example Regiments, a similar wargame, is 24,99€. Warno, from a bigger studio, is 39,99€. So you charge a premium but u do not yet deliver for it. If you would have called it early access then it would be a different case.

I addressed your first line:
"A typical indie studio price is not $50. For example Regiments, a similar wargame, is 24,99€."

With:

This is very misleading - Regiments is exclusively singleplayer - which is why it is $25.

How can you possibly say these games are similar when multiplayer is missing entirely? That's really just ruthlessly unfair to us. It's a great game, and I own it, but as there is no multiplayer their pricing makes perfect sense.

I don't understand how you can make this comparison in good faith.

Which is absolutely true, regiments is single player only. This was not an attack on you at all, it was a bad faith comparison made by you.

I get your frustrated, but at this point it feels to me like your just trying to create drama. Especially when you chased me into PM's to demand a response to your point about Warno, which I didn't address at the time. Thats why this comment now seems like a "punishment" for not responding to you on your Warno point, either here or via PM.

We're not looking to argue about BA versus Warno, on any aspect of the two games. It is too much of a hot topic, and generates a lot of drama as defenders on both sides attack each other.

Please stop with the misleading narrative, I get your frustrated with the game as it currently is, I don't want to have to moderate people...

You are not the only one Edmon puts false accusations onto. I have never seen an official game customer service/community manager being such arrogant like him before.

You said we deliberately held back assets for DLC, we did not. Not everything that gets made ends up in a game when it launches. I'm not digging this up and defending myself for the 4th time. You've already been called out about this by other community members - please move on from this topic.

As I can't see any path back to the original topic (and that topic has been answered) I'm going to lock this.

I do think their spawn rate is too low, compared to the overall Automaton roster.

I tend to play all 3 factions reasonably equally. I have played consistently and in my entire time, usually playing difficulty 7, in all my time I have seen maybe... 3 Barrage Tanks.

Usually its stacks of Hulks and Factory Striders. Rarely I seem to see tanks of any kind. But even more rare are the rocket tanks.

As lethal as any Automaton rocket can be, I think the devs should take a page from the implementation of the Stingray from the Squids. Adjust the Barrage Tank AI so that it sits far back from players and targets an area. That area is painted with a big red glowing circle or something. After some time, the rockets rain down.

But there is a gameplay design problem here where Bot reinforcements are typically already present in an objective location or dropped-on-demand via Dropships to ongoing fights. An "artillery" tank does not work in this style of fight. The way the system works, the AI is not going to drop an already-active Barrage Tank 200+m away.

Less "random" than Automaton artillery turrets. More lethal but more predictable and has a direct unit / movement / weapon counter.
The lack of tanks I believe is because of how they edited enemy spawn rates back in the day because no one wanted to fight 20 chargers at once but most didn't have issues with tank spam. It was flame hulk, beserker, and the Gatling tank spam people didn't like together all at the same time. Normal tanks have always been fun to fight
