Yea, the Guts is as important as other stats, just that you need like maximum 400 Guts or something instead of 1200 Speed, Stamina or Power.

The Guts stat does contribute to whether your uma decide to start last sprut sooner (technically increase acceleration by a huge margin) and if she can hit maximum speed without running out of Stamina. This is how Late or End umas can overtake the Pace or Front.

Remember that the Front are not tracking others's speed as much as non-Front so they can be beaten by a non-front uma that has not reached capped speed, much higher acceleration as well as enough stamina (Stamina + Gut stats).

So, agreeing that you never train guts then lol. Because if the max needed is 400 (long race) then you'll have that much just by training stamina since training stamina trains guts.

Someone did the math and found that having 400 Guts is usually enough, not having enough guts is like you have massive penalty to Stamina, worst case with 150 Guts and 3000m race gives you minus 450 Stamina stat.

Gas means literal gas in this case. Also diesel wouldn't go in a 'gasoline' generator either.

the only fix that i found for this personally when going through with another person was resting at a seedling/vestige. happens semi rarely but really sucks when it does happen. it might work, it might not work, i cant give a definite fix. i think it happened 3 or 4 times in the entire game for us

Also, I found it a bit jarring to see that the "ranks" are all military ranks in a game about being an oil tycoon businessman. I think it would better go with the theme of the game to make the rank titles something more out of a business world sense than military.

Lastly, it seems like a lot of the AI opponent names end with a comma, it's a small thing but gives a bad impression as it's one of the first things you can notice when playing for the first time.

Oh now i get what you guys are talking about. Small amounts of dividends are automatically reinvested at the end of the turn. This was actually a quality of life feature I introduced some time back. The idea behind it was to make the first rounds faster, when there's not many companies on the board yet, so you didn't have to drag the investment sliders every turn just to reinvest small dividends if you didn't need to make other adjustments.

I'll probably have to make that process less opaque since it's obviously confusing people. In the transaction log you can see the amount of dividends you get. If you want to easily verify you'll notice that if you put in all money in one stock you'll end up with zero cash despite getting dividends but it also adds shares to the ones you've already owned because the dividend is automatically reinvested.

TLDR: You aren't losing money. It's automatically reinvested.


The ranks thing is a good idea. Basically the whole rating system I built with multiplayer games in mind. And from other competitive games I play they usually use military type ranks. I didn't think of any other idea. lol Actually a good idea. Just have to somehow come up with that many different business related names. I'll keep that one on the todo list for a future 1.1 patch.

I'm not aware of opponent names ending with a comma. Are you able to post a screenshot of this? Are you on Windows or Linux? I use two types of names. A full name where there's enough space and a short name (which should be mostly the first name, truncated if needed) plus at the end the difficulty of the bot (Easy, Med, Adv) for easy medium or advanced. No comma though.
