Also false. You could appoint a Nomadic vassal of the correct culture and religion to negate any Popular Opinion penalties. Their government does not matter; only their culture and religion.

This is not strictly accurate. Get your gold from Tributaries, Raiding, or Herd; any land you own is better off Razed and generating Herd.

Honestly man, my advice would be to just go for the characters that you think will be fun to play with and don't bother with the meta.

Worst case scenario is that maybe you won't be able to clear the HIGHEST levels of the endgame sometimes, but to be completely honest, it doesn't matter. It's not worth it to constantly chase the meta, waste around 120 pulls (if you're lucky) to get a character and weapon you don't want just so you can get an extra pull or two out of a rotation of WhiWa or ToA. I think that applies even more to you, who mentioned that only want to clear the end game sometimes. Honestly man with the teams you have already you'll probably be able to always complete a decent chunk of the endgame for a good while.

As for powercreep, I think that so far it's been well handled. I have a good portion of the limited 5 star characters and use most of them and I think they're all good still. Even when we get to a point where some characters seriously start to fall off and become unplayable, we don't know how the devs will respond to that. Every character will probably get indirectly buffed in the future by the release of other characters that synergize with them, a new generalist support character or better echo sets and some might even receive direct buffs, again, we don't know yet.

If you like to chase the meta though, general advice I have is to look out mainly for new supports, those usually last longer and are the game changers. The best DPS for each element will probably the newest one (shocker), but out of all teams I do think that Zani's and Carthetyia's specifically will last a good while.
