Making exploits super public only damages the play enviroment for more people. It doesn't speed up the fix to the issue because some issues are non-trivial to resolve.

To give an example, everyone is talking about single player saves - everyone wants this feature, it's one of our top priorities and it's the number one negative in reviews. So the pressure from the community to get this in the game is incredibly high. But it doesn't make implementing it any faster. Do we want this feature? Yes. Are we working on it? Yes. Do more negative reviews about it speed it up? No. How could it, it's already a top priority.

The same is true for these types of exploits, making stuff like this, that we're aware of public - just means vastly more games get ruined before the fix is in place.

A cynical person would say that Hippie only makes these public when it becomes known that we're aware of it - to captialize on getting views before it closed and so he can claim he helped push the fix that was already coming.

Why didn't you just finish your game before releasing it or you know, be honest and slap an Early Access title on it? Also what a response to people calling out the reason your game is dying. So dismissive rather than constructive. Your first sentence should have been "Sorry to our supporters for having to endure this and have the fun sucked out of your game due to oversights on our part." instead its "oh dont talk about this publicly" which basically means "please don't expose our incompetence." You are transparent.

i can think of like 2 exceptions to the rule of not buying denuvo-based games, and both of them are when this specific drm was just starting to catch on lmao

Its not unique to the US, Its a Global Game. Maybe get ICE onto Amazon? Get the Devs off the weed??

It's not "sunk cost". It's that Narita Brian now costs 7k carats while future banner 3*s will cost 30k carats. Also I think I read somewhere that Manhattan Cafe won't be released for a while? Don't quote me on that.
