im so bored... and i like this type of games. have like 4 on rust and stuff.. is this fun to play for like +100 hs?

First 50 hours are great.

Next 100 you'll feel like you're really building for something good.

Next 50 you'll realize theres nothing good your building for.

This game is a tease, it drips with insane potential, but then you see the people non-stop duping for the last 2 months in the city hubs and the lack of end game and realize that potential is just that, potential, its not always realized.

Why you ask? Well what incentive do they have to keep this going? They don't have a cash shop with micro-transactions, they don't have a seasonal pass, they don't have a subscription model, they don't nor haven't been releasing DLCs...

All they have been doing is bleeding profits paying to maintain empty servers.

Did they have potential? Absolutely!! Does the experience in Haga Basin rock?? Hell yeah brother!!! But let's face it, the "Deep Desert" endgame is an absolute joke.

These are professionals, they were able to market the game as an "MMO" by having these features, but let's face it, this was and has been nothing but a single player game with multiplayer features.

But hey, feel free to change my mind. ;)

Hagga Basin was a grind that kept you blind to the problems. The game hasn't been out long enough to put out DLC, so you seem unable to know how development processes work.

Microtransactions don't keep games going, nor do season passes. Those are just cash grabs.

It's a mostly single player grind.

The patches have absolutely done some to try and help though they haven't fixed any of the critical bugs or done anything to compensate victims of them. There's a lot that players need that they haven't provided. A real endgame or something entertaining to do to pass the time is one.

Another is a place to store your stuff when you quit so you won't be leaving on bad terms and might come back. I know nobody wants to come back if they have nothing and start over from scratch again. That's just BS.

Not 100% true, the PVP was there, just never enough people per server to have PvP interactions, if ever, at the PvP POIs in Hagga.

Most might concurr If you can't get it to run properly at 309K there may be something else causing your issues.

The tutorial didn't teach me a damn thing anyway, it just said like clear a zombie, move shelter and had to Google how to do that aswell as how to heal. I dunno if it was bugged or not. Sorry if I sound pissed, was just playing for 4 hours and got 2 punched at full health on normal when some zombie jockeyed me, excuse me?

Indeed - However there are AA and Indi PC studio also doing great sustainable work with smaller teams... I really like Owlcat Games, the dudes who made the Pathfinder and Warhammer crpgs...

So it definitely can still be done, its just a shame that AAA companies choose not to... And yes, its definitely a choice...
