I wonder if, tongue in cheek, it's going to be an amalgam of other platformer moves?
Notably, what's missing is his blaster from 3d, and his glide move from the previous 2 games.

It was part of the base game road map. It's fully planned content for the base game. It is content owed to early access players, as it was promised to release in the early access period.

They are trying to trick you into thinking they gave you a free expansion pack.

They gave you part of the rest of their completely unfinished game, that they *owed you*.

Let me tell you .. the image of the city was in the game since the beginning with a "will come later" banner. So .. no ... they didnt trick us in anything lol
