Thus it doesn't work on steam and EA is selling non functional goods.

Either they can fix it or more then likely they will just DE-LIST the game.

The overlay is not mandatory to play this game. You can stop it's installation or uninstall it and the game will run with no issues.

The anti cheat is built into the game and is separate from the overlay.

It’s possible to dodge it everytime.
You gotta wait until the ghost gets close enough to start the attack animation, once animation begins you need to dash out of the way.

There’s only small window of time but he’s stuck in place once he winds up to swipe you.

if you read that and somehow concluded that I meant literally only you liked the last MO and nobody else did that's a you problem, and coming from the person all but calling people here unreasonable for not liking recent MOs and calling the community impossible to please this whole "some people like it some don't" take sounds very hypocritical.

Everytime I exit from the game I have to physically close steam or else the game will show that it's running even when it isn't and it's incredibly annoying to see that it pushes my playtime up wayyyy more than it actually is.

Is anyone else encountering this?
