as I I would do 3 rows of wooden towers filled with soldiers, 3 rows filled with snipers, then build a wood wall between row 3 and fill in with 450 soldiers, then fill in the back with snipers. ideally 450 soldiers, 450 snipers. holding the line. I do not think you need that many for 100%. I'm just trying to state the defense I would go with with what he's got.
