Then I don't know what the deciding factor is. I had the same situation once that I just left without a boss fight, but on every other occasion I always got send to the Skadi boss fight after leaving the market.

Rifts are triggered by mining mote fields. On the life plain before you moved to another plane, you were protected so you could learn the game mechanics. But now rifts will be a rather common occurrence. Closed rifts will also come back if you keep mining. For the rifts returning on game save/load, perhaps their hp wasn't saved somehow? Bastions will stop raining if there are no rifts around, so if it is still raining then there is still a small, almost imperceptible amount of entropy still lingering and you may need to give it a moment or two to wink out entirely.

Note that slabs and streamways will move items through entropy, so you may be able to find a configuration where your building still work and the entropy doesnt immediately bother you.

You can choose what sects you want to become friends with, and you can choose to do good/evil things to different sects.

What the hell did you do to the balancing. why are we dealing NO damage and why are the enemy AI spraying us down through walls with near perfect accuracy.
