I moved down to story mode and still seems impossible. I have won about 9 mission so far and starting to build camp and get level 4 cards ... but some of these mission just seem impossible.

Snow Beast cannot injure till kill all their pillars, which takes considerable time ... yet they can attack you with no issues and are very strong even after destroying source pillars. Seem crazy unbalanced... I got 2 fighters, one snowbeast lady and my good witch that is great at healing and generating bodies to absorb the beat down. And their priest keeps disarming my guy when finally get into position for a good hit.

And when I hit I get like 1-2 points off, they are getting 8-10 point hits with many of them taking out one of my characters in one turn after I burned through most cards to keep alive. Seems very unbalanced !! Maybe this mission is not supposed to be done till much higher in rank, but I asked others, and there is no level by zone or color or anything else.... what am I missing here. I know the basics, I already played though gloomhaven and won 9 matches in this game but seem to be hitting a wall now.

i downloaded from discord and unzipped, took out the doubbled folder too and dragged it to the mods folder, and im sure the mods were release version. i've done every thing and it doesn't seem to work, and if there is a way i wish it were easier to find and do, in general i think they shoud make the mods simpler to add. sorry this is not my first language

Same fix for any other game with a leveling system, level up and pump up those critical stats.

I've had some cutscenes, made some quest progress and had some fights since entering Baldurs gate. Though I don't really want to got back through it again, I think tomorrow I will load a save from before I entered Baldurs Gate and move my stuff to the camp storage, then play from there. I might skip some of the dialogues I had with the villagers in Baldur's gate though. I met Orin a few times, wonder if I should avoid her this time.

agreed, especially when you hit one of the ores and they chip off a bunch of pieces.
