You could probably launch private server if you know-how, there was group of players that did that for their private group. The issue there is that you need config file for every player that includes their soldiers and gear, so it's not feasible for public. You have to know all the IDs of weapons, soldiers, assault teams. I would have no idea where to even start.

The ship dumps its cargo on the ground and then is no longer available, as Trogg writes. I have all the problems he described, and it ruins the game...

I'm sure it is, and if I had this game under different circumstances, I'm sure I'd give it a solid try too, and probably really enjoy it. No shade to the game itself, or those that enjoy it.

I tend not to mind. It will spread from Epic eventually and then it will have the bugs worked out and be fully updated. With the soft second release it has enough new players to maintain the "new game" experience.

IF it ever get released at Steam.
Like, after 5 or 10 years or more later they can keep it there, also as the case of Alan Wake 2, Epic Games seem to be the publisher so it will not make it out of Epic (like Alan Wake 2).

Considering that Epic Games itself decide to put it on Steam, I dont trust they will not try to make me link my Steam account to Epic Games again and after "at least some games" I had purchased at Steam (like Shadow of the Tomb Raider) were held hostage to login to Epic Games account I will not do it again. (Yes the game had locked with a message to use epic account "before any ingame menu" rendering it unplayable until I unlinked my Steam account from Epic Games store)

It was a lame move from Epic that made me purchase at Steam all the "free games I was playing at Epic" and never go back to Rocket League and is the only reason why I linked my Steam account to Epic, because of progress and ingame purchased content that starting RL through Steam I now had a lvl 1 account with nothing I had purchased or earned ingame but starting from EGS I had everything so I linked Steam account to Epic (but after unlinking Steam account from my Epic account I lost everything at Epic too).

None of my characters are listed when I first log in to game. If I shutdown and restart game they appear in 2nd try.
