I feel that speed so unrealistic, pls tell me if i can change that (more slow) :(

Deflection for regular attacks (L1/LB). Mikiri counter for red thrust attacks (Circle/B). Jumping for red sweeping attacks (Triangle/Y). That's 90% of the combat.

Don't dodge unless you know what dodges are for. Try not to dodge to avoid attacks that can be deflected. Dodges can be helpful sometimes if you're overwhelmed and want to get away for a moment. During active combat deflection/countering is the intended way to avoid damage. Because it's also offensive as it does posture damage.

Right after a successful deflection the enemy often gets 1-2 seconds stagger, hit them once or twice. This way you lower their HP as well which makes their posture meter not recover as fast (low HP = slow posture recovery). And if the fight goes on for a long time eventually you win automatically because their HP will go to 0 with the chip damage.

If you get good at deflection and countering 80% of the time you will be able to kill the enemy even before their HP reaches 50%. But it's always nice to do HP damage as well as fallback.

Don't think of guns as just the part in the picture. That's just the turret/barrel. A real weapon system might be integrated into the ship in such a way that it takes a bunch of trained engineers months to figure out. You don't have trained engineers (normally), you have imperial recruits, cultists who are cleeeeeeaaaaarly not focused on electrical wiring, and machine slaves.

There's a reason why the loot description for guns says something like "You found a box in the cargo hold," instead of saying you stripped the ship, because you're picking up a version that's essentially plug and play.

Fun Trivia: Over the past decade or three, the US Navy has been transitioning to plug-and-play. Meaning that the same ship can easily be retrofit with different equipment, as opposed to traditional designs where the weapon system is more or less indistinguishable from "the ship."
