I will also reply on some ppl here as a BF 1942 veteran playing since and stopped with COD since black ops 2 ( it's the same thing each time )

I think this one is much better then the previous one (2042) it sucked and they listened to the community finally.

But i do notice a lot players are from COD with their slide and not working as a team / squad and going lone wolf style, it isn't COD and please go back there then and stop being a kiddo with those negative reviews lol it really shows who the COD players are and who knows battlefield and how to play it!

I see i think 7/10 squads that do NOT revive each other, even if you NOT A MEDIC you can REVIVE your SQUAD MEMBERS!!

I also see ppl say it's a bit like COD, there was only 1 "large" map and the another 2 are more infantry based maps and next weekend they have like 1 extra map ( i think also large )

But some choke points they need to adjust and it feels like a decent battlefield game for me.

I also notice ppl complain about Secure boot but it is 2025 and it should have been on already and soon with Windows 11 you gonna need it as well !

You gonna go microsoft raging then ? in like 2 months? when the windows 10 support is gone! ?

those ppl don't know how and what and i saw a "software developer" ( it's not a IT technical, it's a software developer ) that had wasted 2 hours, i fixed it in like 30 mins if you know what you are "actual" doing

Most of these ppl don't know and just switch something on and have no idea what they are doing and especially not how to "fix" it or troubleshoot it even and fix it within a decent time period.

it's gonna be on COD as well the new one, all kernel ( it's 2025... huh ) maybe some old pc's don't have TPM and even can use secure boot since they are old systems.

Microsoft created lots of e-waste because of it and we all need it soon in Windows 11 as well and future games too ( more games will be doing it )

I think this BF6 is good but still several bugs into it ( like the gadgets disappear ) and some choke points need to be fixe and prefer some more old veteran BF maps like Metro or Strike at karkand, Golf of Oman, Wake Island and those maps needs a remastered.

Some of them have players with 100ish hours + on just 1 / 2 maps specific of a BF... like BF2 or 3 or 4 and they really need to "remaster" those

All we want is "communication"...

What exactly are you people asking for I wonder?

They don't waste time with nothingburger announcements like this one, you complain.

They make announcements like this one, you still complain.

They give a date and try to meet their deadline, they miss the mark, you complain.

Now they are reluctant to give a date in case it ties their hand to a release, you complain and ask for a date.

They release EA and many of you complain the game came out too soon.

They say they don't want to release updates unless they are as ready as possible, you complain they delay.

Is there any case that some of you can ever be happy? I guess not.

0.3 has been delayed because it needed more work. There IS not set date as they don't know what other issue might rise during the development of the patch. They are working on the update as they have said already a dozen times. They want to make sure it is as ready as possible before they release it. And they have given information to what is included in this patch from as far back as 0.2 release and the new roadmap. Nothing changed.

If people are set to complain-mode regardless then nothing they do will change them from complaining. That is the truth of it in the end.

And since when was constantly communicating and updating every few days on the SAME information no less MORE important than just working on the patch btw? Let me get this straight, you all would prefer they make a new estimate they might fall short too again so you can complain more, and for them to "communicate" more, at the expense of time well spent developing?

Sounds like it is you lot that simply don't want the game to launch. And the comments prove it.

Knife fights suck

I guess it is skilled based in a certain way, but my impression is the opponent does things I find almost impossible to copy. After dodging his knife thrust he should be off balance and if you immediately riposte with a slash you should be able to cut him or hurt him, but he somehow always manages to dodge your ripostes no matter how fast you react. The only window you're given is when he comes with his "unparriable" attack but he always seems to do that after you have launched an attack yourself so you yourself are off-balance and in no position to parry his "flash attack". It's frustrating.
