Typically, the term "active playerbase" is used to describe the sum of people that currently play a given game. Not really clearly defined, but I would say something like "who have played the game in the last month" or so. I don't think it makes sense to correlate presence or activity on social platforms linked to a game with being or not being an active player of said game.

I am doing reasonably ok solo as well as in teams, just saying, I find teams to be way more forgiving and easier, and not only from playing teams myself, but from having watched many completely 0 IQ runs of 0 skill or experience people who still managed to do fairly well even though they had no idea what they were doing, just because they were in a team.

It almost sounds like you are arguing in favor of teams being OP now, even though before you were saying solo was the easiest?

Also, the game may be easier in many ways, but there are ways in which it is incomparably harder. First of all, you have lots of bosses, and they come from a number of different games. Some are totally trivial, while some are really tough. Second of all, this game is completely different in almost every way beside the combat itself, so experience and knowledge do not transfer that much. And maybe most importantly, you are under serious time pressure, which totally changes the game as well.

No i'm not arguing in favor of team, i'm saying this game has a watered down experience in team and solo if compared to previous titles of FS, solo you have three revivals every run, every map, the nok city map you have 4-5 revivals in solo, if you cant beat a boss being revived 5x times with his HP being 1/3 of the normal design and having 1/3 of poise value, honestly at this point the player will need a baby mode like in wolfstein. "Mama can i play?" I think it's how it's called.

Solo is easier than a team because, IF in the situation you get used with the game mechanics it's so forgiven you wont lose. IF in the situation you get used in the game mechanics IN A TEAM and your teammates die often, you're gonna be forced to situation A: Revive them
B: Revive them losing flasks in the process
C: Not reviving them and soloing the boss
D: All of the above.

In solo you just have *three 100% guaranteed revives* so if you die you just get revived, it's simple AS. If you can't understand this point i can't help breaking it down further.

Also in a team there's LAG INPUT and DELAY due to how the matchmaking and servers work, this alone makes the game harder, in TEAM than solo, as it's gonna affect your dodge-parries abilities making easier to screw up being a beginner or veteran.

You forgot one of the most important details of solo vs team gameplay in Souls game: when you play solo the boss doesn't spazz and spin around changing targets all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. In solo, if the boss uses an attack, you use one of your tools to handle it. In a team, the boss can start an attack and decide to change targets mid combo (or the other player can dodge on top of you) and now you're at a high risk of getting caught with your pants down.

As for Executor being bad solo, that's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. Either put Sepuku or Chilling Mist and starter weapon influcts extra bleed/frost/poison, go to a mine to get it to +2 and use it until you get a purple katana with more base damage. Swap between the two weapons as needed.
