Hello Tattman, The birdhouse comes from the admin tool and can't be placed yet.

The admin tool also contains preparations for future updates. I still need to fine-tune the admin tool a bit so that such things are only displayed when they are available in the normal gameplay.

i agree

loot the bug infested ruins right after a star blowup. no bugs to deal with. go with an empty inventory. lots of debris piles all over and some hidden areas. i have found multiple of each research item all over. there is a valley near the start with 2 dead bodies in it. its hidden well and they also have research drops.

Look, I'm 66 years old, been playing these things since the C-64 first came out. If my old eyes and slow reflexes can complete this first bit of the game with a level 23 Stormblade ( Rogue+Storm) then so can the OP.
I tried an Elementalist first and got beat up and will try it again now that I know the tells.
Currently working on a poison focused Reaver. I played the first game until Grim Dawn came out. I prefer turn based games these days but ARPGs are ok as well.
I can understand if the quality is crap or the keys can't be remapped or whatever, but to give up and complain its to difficult not even 20 mins into the game?
To be blunt, maybe stick with Candy Crush if this is to hard, or, try a never ending iceshards build and try again.
