Galaxy Guide has more ancestries. Invasion Edge adds two more. Murder in Metal City I think also adds more. Then we also have Galactic Ancestries coming which will re-introduce some legacy races and add Apostate Elves as playable. (Apostate elves or "void elves" are what the drow became in Starfinder 2E)

Those are supplement books. Since they are not in the main rulebook there is little chance that even one of them makes it into the game unless relevant to the story.
10 core ancestries are already a lot, because you need to make models and animations for them. Especially since it's their first game and they need to build everything from scratch.

Don't worry, the game has lost about 80% of it's players in just two weeks, they'll pull the plug on it soon and you won't feel obligated to spend more money.

Adding this unit is the dumbest idea. Now all cav are useless because it can destroy entire unit with just 1 ram. Remove it completely or Add the Charge skill for it,and make it only do the control effect when using charge skill
