FFB has not changed. It is still missing vital details.
I have no idea why people are saying the ffb is excellent. Its friggen LMU all over again and now look what we are stuck with there.. horrible ffb that is not tuned.

Exactly, so your first statement is false. It is NOT missing vital details. The vital details are already there. What it is missing is artificial details to help you understand more from OTHER elements in the car outside of the steering.

This is subjective. You are in the list of people that want these extra artificial details, many others are not.

I for example dislike all those artificial additions. AC1 never felt natural to me because of this. In ACC they had a mod/addition thingy to add this kind of ffb as well to the game. So many people were raving about it. I had it on for several months and had gotten used to it trying to adapt. So its not like I didn't give it a chance. At some point (maybe 3 months later after using it extensively?) on a whim I took it off. The game right away felt natural to me again.

So, depends on who you ask.

For me EVO has the best FFB I have ever touched in any sim game. Not crazy protruded effects as if curbs are driving through a grinder, no added effects for the wheel (which is irrelevant to other parts of the car) to try and tell me what those other parts are doing through unrealistic manners, none of that. And at the same time not as numb as real life as well. In real life it can be even number.

I can tell exactly what the car is doing.

We are never going to get the feel of g-forces, we are never going to get the feel of weight transfer and other aspects unless in a motion rig, and we need to rely on other information. Visual and audio. And that is more than enough for some of us.

They may tweak it slightly here slightly there sure but as long as they stick to this initial projection the FFB is awesome. Feels something between overdone and realistic. Its a good combination that brings a very natural steering feel to the driver.

Some want more effects added. I disagree and hope Kunos never goes in that direction. Modders can spend time to do this if people want it instead of wasting time from the devs to develop something most of us don't even want.

Yeah i think i'm there with you. I drove different cars for a few hours yesterday and it is very good.
I don't know why it took me this long to realize how good it is. Logitech just had a firmware update that fixed bugs on my dd wheel base so maybe something was going on there.
