Bought a game earlier today and did not like it, so I did a refund request. Usually I request to refund the game with a credit to my Steam wallet, but I think I forgot to specifically request that. Because of that I think I requested the refund to be paid back via the way I paid for it, which is an Ideal payment (Ideal is a Dutch e-commerce payment system).

When I logged into Steam a few hours ago I got a message that Steam has contact my payment service provider and were waiting for a respond. For some reason I can't reproduce this message, so I might be off on the literal content of the message.

I don't really know that is going on. A request for a refund would usually be resolved in an hour or so, but this request is still showing as pending. The game did however disappear from my library. Does anyone here have any experience with this and can tell me how long this process will take?

Bah, you sent this while I was typing. Sorry. Steam won't let me edit or delete replies for some reason, so there's not much I can do about the one I just typed.
I'll go grab my own Steam Deck and experiment, and see if I can find a better work-around.

For some reason people seem to think you need to be able to just dump everything to get it all at once when that isn't the case at all.

Then congrats on having a nice paying job, but yeah, to a lot of people having £3k spare each month is a bit rarer, but, that is where saving comes in, or, have enough of an income where that £3k doesn't affect your other expenses.

My point was, it's not crazy if you budget for it.

Is there an issue with the audio mixing or something? The only voice lines I hear are women shouting lol

If it's not too much trouble would you post a screenshot. I'm sure many would love to aspire to playing a 10,000 inhabitant game and would love to see how it looks in Manor Lords.

I hear ya. I am waiting also, games in general have just become so expensive. If you want the entire game its about $100 US now for most big games. I was always the buy it on release day guy years ago but have become the i will buy it on sale guy now. Makes me a little sad but it allows me to buy 3-4 times more titles. There is just so much competition out there for my money that I can always wait a couple more months. I think this is going to be a X-mas sale item for me. Looks fun

Same. I have 243 pages of salt on my profile. not 243 comments, 243 pages of comments. I dont block any of them, as its better for bad people to be focusing their salt at me, than at others who might feel bad about them. i do this as a service to the steam community. it also is helpful for them, as they often later come back in embarrassment and delete all of their comments, which results in big sections of just my comments as theirs are gone.

i have had, over the years, numerous stalkers, some of which posted on a daily basis on my profile for literally years at a time. one who just recently stopped a few months ago who had posted 3-4 times a day since last november.

i once had someone get so mad over a match of dead by daylight that they changed their name to Lowbei, grabbed a picture of my face from my twitch, photoshop it to make my forehead bigger and my eyes wider (which was hilarious), they then bought dozens of furry/pr0n games to leave reviews under the name Lowbei (which later changed to their current name as it changes when they change their name), and they then went thru the entire comments section to invite dozens of haters into an "I hate Lowbei" steam group, which later got shut down and many got banned. it was honestly really funny, and goes to show how far people will go on steam in the attempt to stalk someone.

I think we overall have great moderators, who sometimes get overzealous, but generally do good work.

Lot of comments on my profile are from upset folk too, usually those who net bans in the forums.

In fact someone left a slur today because I exposed a white supremacist dogwhistle topic in OT.

Is it the one where the OP edited the entire topic to be about sports cars instead?
