Alright let's say EA is not the publisher. Why do I have to use an EA account to manage the game ? No matter how anyone paints this, EA appears to be in charge of the network. Why make me login to EA account otherwise.

Well that’s sound a bug from the server type

You said you downgraded the server to a Boulder+.
What server did you use ?

It’s 100% bug. I’ve done everything from zero and all works.
Previously I used boulder+. On padu_v1+dns-server it didn’t worked. On dns-lite was alright

I love how People Think "Minimum Requierment means Perfectly be Able to Play the Game with my entitelt Personal Expectations of Modern Gameplay Standarts like 120 FPS, 4K and such" even thou Minimum Requierments only means "The Game will Start and Run without Crashing and if you are Lucky Reach 30FPS. If it later on Needs More because it´s a Big Simulation than it will getting worse, as it does on every Sytsem"

Aye, I remember it back in the day when I was a kid - we had no money for hardware and always looked at the min specs. Thinking along the line "Hopefully I can at least start the game" and things like that - then reduce the graphics to a minimum and "play" (endure) the game. Simply because there was no alternative.

Main difference to today - we kept quiet because we knew our rigs were a lousy excuse of hardware. Nowadays everyone who buys a computer thinks "I spent money, I should be able to play this". But depending on the parts people can buy real junk, even for 1000 or 2000$.(e.g. by mix and match hardware which doesn't play nice with each other or cheap out at e.g . RAM). And there is this run on laptops - which will die because of heat in games like X4.

The Problem is that People absolutly got 0 Sense for what Certain Components are able to do and what not. And i can partially Understand that. With the Way Developer and Tech Companys reveal and release Products it get´s more and more Confusing. Like for Example there are idk 300 Different Versions of GPU Chips from Intel alone. There is I2-9 or even 10 nowadays not sure, and than there are so many Versions.
20 Years ago it was easy. I5 was better than an I4 and thats it. But now i need to check and compare every Version of a CPU to see which got better Perfomance overall and which got Better Specs in certain specific Conditions and Areas. Same for GPU´s. It´s not just "The Newest, Highest Cost is the most Powerfull" how it used to be. And its Frusttrating because it makes it so much easier for Shady Tech-Trader to Scam People or take way more Money as the ♥♥♥♥ they sell is or should be worth. The Cryptomining Derps dont help there either.
However what People definetly need to get into their thick Skulls is, that if Tech is Older as 5 Years, you cant expect anything to be perfect and smooth anymore, because Tech evolves so extremly Fast. Developer still should try to Support Stuff which is Older but if your Stuff is Older as 5 Years (on Average) dont be suprised if Certain Things dont Run on 120FPS,4K,Ray-Tracing xD


The Laptop Thing.... That Depends. I play X4 myself on a Laptop since it´s Release. And while yes, it gets comparably Hot, around 90°C, thats still in an expected Range and everything Works Fine. As Long as you dont hit 100°C+ there shouldnt be happening much. But OFC since i use a Laptop i am also aware of this and allways Check if they are Designed for Gaming, because these Systems usually got better designed Cooling anyway.

title says it all, bethesda doubled down on paid mods, and mod authors fed into it, they 100% deserve to be paid, but im not paying for mods and i imagine most of yalla rent either, mods on nexus suck, ill donate to an author if i think their work is good, but pay for access... no

We buy games that cost a lot and now we have to pay for half-finished games that weren't made properly and cost more than they should have, and now? We have to pay extra for mods as if the title was of any quality to begin with.


Personally, I don't accept these things.

Exactly, very few gamers will accept that, which is why the pop is always low even after a sale, and why the reviews are so bad.

Why would anyone pay $70 for half a game, with promises that the mods created with their buggy creation kit years after release, will make the game playable?!

Oh and on top of that, Beth is going to take 75% of everything modders create ...LOL :D
