steam doesnt give af and neither do the devs. higher ranks in this game on pc have been filled with unbanned cheaters since release

Since the last hotfix, the game has crashed like 4 times. On August 18th, the game froze and I lost my Tempest character level +30. I only have two characters left, but I lost the best one I had.


I lost all desire to play the game after this.

I play some rogue-type games, but not very many souls-like games. I find them usually to be too frustrating and time consuming having to constantly learn the patterns of every new enemy you encounter, one screw up and you're done for, nah not my thing.

I'm literally the opposite. Another thing is that weirdly this game feels hard even though I don't die a lot. But subjectively it feels hard. I can't explain this.
Also it is most fun when I fight a lot of guys at once. But not being able to take a lot of hits forces me to play a lot more cautiously. I think the game would be more fun if I could take more damage, but also it threw more or harder guys at me. In other words if my character was less fragile.

You can build to be more tanky.
Either go for some kind of shield build.

Or like me aim for a combination of wellspring incense and last elixer arkana.
Just keep Elixers lay on the ground until you are at 0, then go and pick one up and you get ton of value out of your huge HP pool and Last Elixer.


Combine that with the 20% more HP bead and the damage reduction bead and you have HP for days.
I also use the Mandrake which doubles the gigantic HP bar if needed, but can also be popped on purpose for the double damage bonus against bosses.

The Braid of a Seductress is also not a bad choice.
Sure the 30% reduced melee damage dosent work against ranged attacks, but it freezes attackers and if you kill them you get HP back.

With that build i traded with so many enemies and Bosses, maybe give it a try.

That's the error message.

* Ubuntu 22.04
* Steam is running.
* Another thread suggested `chown -R $USER steamapps/`, which I've done.
* I've killed all other apps, containers, etc.

You are missing the point. I could vote surrender and we would lose in round 2 couz blaming my team mte was afk, like matchmaking put me in loser q, or with trhowers.

There is not forced losses neither wins. You can fight and comeback.

You profoundly missed the point that your association with your comeback doesnt have anything to do with the matchmaking problems.

There is an old American sports competition saying, Any team can win on any given Sunday.
The best teams in the world dont go through seasons undefeated do they. That's rhetorical.

And what is your point anyways that matchmaking is perfectly fine and some of the best out there? LOL i bet corporations love you.

Nah you still missing the point, EOMM defenders says there is loser queus and forced wins and losses, and in this match with their mindset i would blame EOMM, matchmaking or tem amtes, but i voted to not surrender and finally we comeback. Not replying you anoymre tho.
