DD2 is less enjoyable simply because there's almost no long term strategic planning. Everything is locked behind grindy RNG system. Like, even basic items that are crucial for some enemy encounters. I mean common, how is that a good game design when almost everything depends on luck?

I also hate the fact that there's no information on what kind of skills you can unlock in hero shrines. The game prohibits you from making any type of strategic planning outside of combat and road encounters. You have to mindlessly grind until you unlock everything and only then the full BASIC game content is unlocked which is ridiculous.

I haven't tried the new Kingdoms mode but the basic campaign was so frustrating, boring and exhausting and it made me not wanna even launch DD2 any time soon.

DD1 is frustrating and overwhelming at first, but it becomes super fun and satisfying once you learn the mechanics, DD2 is fun until you realize how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and limited the gameplay loop is.

absoultely agree, that's what i feel all along with dd2.
there is no fun side in dd2. after unlocked everything you still need the luck to get the items. unfortunately luck in dd2 is always 'bad' one

Depends on what you want that gold for and either way it may be pointless since new monsters will appear that drop even more gold and items. Not to mention that most of the end game gear on Act 3 is found since many trials will be expanded like the Wheel of Harma, the barred doors etc. (You will get the Ultimate key)

So ACT 3 IS the post game or is there more after that? I played Star Ocean the Last Hope on 360 10 or so years ago and it's post game was absurd, I mean it was mostly grinding and only two post game dungeons but they were crazy, the true secret final boss required me to grind characters to level 255 when I beat the final boss at level 60. lmao I was hoping DQ XI might have had some crazy post game content like that but I was also being realistic and assuming ACT 3 was all that was left after ACT 2. But I was holding out hope that there might be more even after ACT 3 in the form of optional bosses or dungeons you can find .

It feels like a continuation more than the traditional post game. I compare it to the post content of Tales of Graces f. Will not say more as to not spoil it since the story continues.

A buildable oil rig,, went through pretty much all mods.. couldnt get any to work with a money trickle and i cant mix it with higher tib growth

I will not add that but you can do it yourself via the rules system. The expample rules thread has an example for capturable Oil Derrick you can easily change it to make the Oil Derrick buildable.
