I'm not suggesting this is the solution, but I'm also on Bazzite, but on an RTX 3060 (8GB), and before the recent event (the Toxic Armor event), the game ran smooth.

When the update dropped, Darktidebegan to run choppy. I have 60 FPS locked and the counter did say that I were constantly at 60 FPS, but the game ran terrible.

I tried asking on the Bazzite Reddit, changed graphic settings back and forth, went into the .ini, but had no success until I tried to enable VSynch (which I never use in any game), and for whatever reason, Darktide now runs smoothfor me, again.

Interesting solution.

I've been looking through the forums about AI, has there been any talk about further development. At the moment AI is limited like passive aggression setting, a Jaguar can walk past 5 of my tribe members can kill me while them tribe mates just hang out, they only fight if attacked, the settings are really lacking in this regard.

I like both. SMT for mechanics & persona for indepth story.

did you accidently use a default save and not transfer your ch3 save over?

No i hit the ch3 files when doing the new file

hm, it sounds like a bug then, you could try making a fresh ch4 save again and see if it says the same thing, or double check in castle town that you actually recruited everyone, just to confirm for yourself, cause it sounds like you met all the requirements.
