Lionheart is something of an all-rounder; when compared to the other options mentioned here.

He does some early-ish aggression, maintains a strong siege later in the game and has a defensible castle mid to later on. Though the castle defenses are a bit short-staffed, so if you can add some units to his wall and towers it can greatly help him. Particularly if he gets attacked just after sending his standing army to siege someone else.

He is not the best at any one particular area but is competent in most things.

PVP means equal skill-based opportunity... not wanker-gankers blocking end tier content from 80% and charging exorbitant prices for nodes they dominate. If you're such a good PVPer you should relish a fight with someone who has equal gear and opportunity.

Then again, some people PRETEND to like PVP.. but they really wanna play against people who have no chance.
