I'm in doubt if I want to buy this game. I loved the first remake and all the original games, but there is a certain apparent lack of caring from the developer and/or publisher concerning the first remake. The fact that there are still broken achievements in the first remake that are not being fixed or the fact that most of the original music is censored shows a strictly superficial love for the source material and it's fans instead of a deep kind. At least have the censored music be a choice for those who can deal in reality and don't have to life in a pampered version of it. And for pity's sake, fix those broken achievements, man! This should be easy to do, yet Activision or Vicarious Visions can't seem to be bothered.

I bought it, it was fun, I enjoy the format of 1+2 more, meaning not having to unlock normal and hard challenges just to unlock "career" mode. The change with 4 being 2 min sessions rather than open makes sense for the remake, but the way they added tasks doesn't seem like they tried to make it so completing all the goals in the 2 mins with pathing and such like past games is were it feels really janky.

I say its a bargain bin buy

+1 to the OP. Give us a more solid singleplayer experience on both sides. DBD’s single-handedly destroyed my interest in asymms and PVP in general unless they do something really unique with it.

Well, looking at the options i can't see anything that could change this anomaly

Main menu > multiplayer settings > control method for attacking > movement keys

That sets it back to how it used to work before the recent patch.

I guess I have to wait until next year.
