yeah, plus there's only so many passives in the game, you just kinda memorize them after a while and once you see the first word you know what type it is. Same with boss loot pools.

On certain characters there's only certain passives you really care about anyways, and the ones like glintblade i'll take if i have an open slot.

you could argue that old people take time to read, but i dont think OP is over 30, especially when you get used to it, reading the tooltips is lightning fast, no need for pausing

you can't pick up items on the run, so you need to stend there and inventory manage. Which nobody else clearly does. It takes a moment for the game to register you are in range and actually show you the item cause of net lag, which adds another moment. The actual reading part is fast, but people clearly aren't even looking at the loot.

As a quick-fix I have added Octron's Marble Machine to the mission tree once you unlocked it. Clicking it brings you directly to the sector stash tab.

"I know Shams already talked about this but I wanted to give more context. We definitely feel, at the studio, the need to rebalance the way we develop the game. It's been a year and a half running on new content every 6 weeks or so. We feel it's time to introduce more stability in our builds, more testing but also letting the devs fix their bugs as they come (and I can confirm: the peeps making the warbonds or the missions are also responsible for fixing them!). But this takes time and consistency, I've asked our tech director, we couldn't fix everything in just one update (I wish), it's gonna take many steps These last few months I've been chatting a lot with the rest of the directors about how we plan better to introduce longer but fixing time, performance optimization etc. I think the approach will be to turn the ship progressively rather than doing a complete U turn, because we want to keep telling you the stories of the galactic war. There's a lot of other practices we're trying right now that I'd love to share more, perhaps a blog post in the future, but in the meantime, know that we're really taking this one at heart."

Greetings, I'm someone who normally sticks with 2D fighters and I have screwed around with core fighters and find it fun. tried 6 which isn't exactly to my tastes so probably will be staying casual and offline in 5. This being said I'm looking for character recommendations for who to buy as I have no clue what they play like for the most part. Most of my 3d fighter experience is in Soul Calibur VI where I play Sophitia, Cassandra and Talim with some ignorant Nightmare fun every now and then. On Soul Calibur I actually enjoy it for the freedom of movement and the use of the 3rd dimension. I've played tekken (tag 2 and 7) and to me its either too much of a knowledge check to use effectively even when using the best side steppers, or just too many tracking moves. Like only time it feels good is when i'm specifically fighting a character weak to side step as the best side stepper in the game. However I want to play a character that can use movement well but isn't as strong with stepping so I can learn how 3d fighters more subtly use the Z axis.

For more reference on how I play the SCVI characters I listed, I tend to focus on pokes and angel step, along with trying to create and punish whiffs with movement. And naturally using the throws when opportune with Cassandra along with games of chicken.
