There's a couple reasons. Beguiling is accessible from cooking, which (similar to Psychometry) massively reduces its value as a level 1 selection. This is especially true since it's main use is to water ritual hostile creatures. When you subtract that value and just leave the ability to gain permanent followers, it isn't worth 5 points.

Also, Domination is simply way more useful in more situations than just merchant shenanigans. Domination can let you permanently swap with powerful creatures. In dangerous areas, you can lure 1 hostile out, Dominate it, and then send it back in to kill enemies at no risk to yourself. If you do gather followers via ritual, proselytize, or beguiling, Domination lets you allocate mutation points and skill points on level up. This is an absolutely massive boost to any follower playstyle.

So Domination can be used to explore or fight at no risk to yourself, can be used to permanently swap bodies, can be used to massively increase the power of your followers, and can even be used to "instant kill" enemies by taking control of them and making them kill themselves.

Take away the water ritual benefit you gain from cooking, and Beguiling is just a second proselytize. Even if you ignored cooking, you can attack hostiles with love injectors to get the same effect. I can't justify even a 4 point cost, so it goes down to 3.

I have tried uninstalling using the damn mods, nothing works the damn game is broken. If not prove to me you have completed Glory of the dead!

Because this is still an absolute nightmare. Anyone got a trick to beat the devs at creating the worst vehicular controller driving reactions of all time? one touch of the left stick and the vehicle is doing a fng uturn. Any settings tips would be appreciated, I cannot believe this is still an issue after these years and coming back to this, that the devs didn't attend to this issue.

If SCS never announces a Chevrolet pack, and Ubisoft decides to turn off The Crew 2 servers, you'll end up without the Camaro anyway.

I'm happy about what's already announced.

if SCS doesnt announce it ill just not play it, simple as that
plus ubisoft has plans to add offline modes to TC2 and TCM so lol

Hope the dev adds a better slider eventually, ghosting at 75% is horrible.

For now you can setup UE4SS on the game, then open dev-console with F10 and enter r.ScreenPercentage 100, you'll need to enter that each startup though.

Believe me:

There are people already working on mods for the game. That is one reason the devs waited till 1.0 to release the game files for private dedicated servers.
They knew releasing the files would put more capability into the hands of people who know how to code.

There are already multiple scripts written to do a lot of things in Scum since 1.0 was released.
