How much content/variety does the game currently have?

That's a little bit hard to say, I've played 10+ hours, I still have the same Mech as I started with, but I've upgraded it a bunch and it 'plays' very differently from how it did when I started.

I haven't encountered a huge variety of enemies (and some are recolours of others, just with a different weapon and ability), but I'd say that each battle is a puzzle where you have to work out how to deal with the specific combination of enemies that you're facing.
You'll learn the behaviour and attacks of each enemy, and then need to figure out strategies for defeating combinations of them.

So if you're looking for every battle to feature a new unique opponent, then you're going to be dissapointed, but the variety in this game comes more from different combinations, and how you take them on with the various abilities you can give yourself.

As I said, I'm probably approaching something like 15hrs, and I'm still enjoying the core combat puzzles of the game, for me it's other elements, like the lack of UI/Ease of Use/Quality of life features and the slightly barren world that's a chore to explore that have got me waiting for a chunky update before I return again, but I thoroughly recommend getting it at this point. It's good.

I am not following. Where is the "random" part to come in? Quickplay isn't a "Randomize" button. It's a "I don't care who i play with or what I play, get me into a game" button.

The following URL is to be used to access the REST interface: https://census.daybreakgames.com

URL Pattern
All requests to the REST interface follow a pattern. There are different patterns for different types of data:

Game Data:

The REST interface will return all results that match the attributes provided within the query string. The data returned is in the form of a list containing zero or more items from the dataset provided in the URL.

When using the XML format, the results will be provided in a parent <{collection}_list> element. In JSON, the results will be in an array ([ ]). If no results are found, this container will be empty.

Service ID
The service ID is used to identify the customer of the Census API for tracking and quality of service issues. The service ID is an alphanumeric value. All service IDs will be of the format s:<the service id>.

For example, here is a query for the world information with the service id (s:example) attached:

The service ID should be used when making queries to the Census API. Always use a service ID in your applications, whether they access the Census API from the users client machine or from your server. The IP Address is optional. Providing it allows the Census API to ensure others are not misusing your registered Service ID.

To change or update your registered email addresses and IP addresses, please email data-feedback@daybreakgames.com.

The service ID "s:example" is available for casual use--it is throttled to 10 requests per minute per client IP address.

Please note that Census API requests without valid Service IDs will be throttled and may be completely blocked in the future."
