IMHO Paladins are only good for healing themselves late game. But really depends on play style and team comp. You can effectively run with no healers even. But Paladins don't come close to a bishop or saint for healing the team as a dedicated healer.

I think Selene could be made into a paladin. She would need some traits and resources tho, but her taunt would be really nice and could see her being a fun front line tank/healer. But she's likely not the best place to stick those resources. Her Strength penalties would take some work to overcome. She would basically just be a taunting meat bag to take hits.

Secure Boot is not anti-cheat software!

EA Javalin is the anti-cheat software.

Secure Boot blocks two things.
First, it prevents cheats that work with DLL injection or rootkits from starting, but cheats that work in other ways may still be used under certain circumstances.
For example, external hardware cheats via USB, etc.

The other, much more exciting thing is that Secure Boot makes hardware spoofing impossible.

In other words, before an operating system (e.g., Windows) boots, the BIOS performs a hardware scan because every component in the PC has a unique hardware ID (GPU, CPU, RAM, SSD, even keyboards mouse and monitors).

If you cheat and get banned by Javalin Anticheat, EA will ask for the hardware IDs that are stored in a validated file by Secure Boot. At that moment, you are hardware banned.

In the past, hardware spoofing programs could be used to trick the anticheat into thinking that the corresponding components had different IDs.

This is no longer possible because hardware spoofing programs can no longer change or falsify the verified file created by Secure Boot.

In other words, if a cheater has been banned, they cannot create a new account and continue playing with falsified hardware. Theoretically, the cheater would have to change their entire system + peripherals in order to participate in the game again.

Je trouve que le jeu apporte un peu de fraîcheur dans le genre grâce a sa Direction Artistique et le gameplay de son boss le seul que j'ai testé dans la démo.
Petite question dans l'early acces prévus y auras t'il la traduction fr et le keybinding ?

For Augur you gotta get as many "improves skill attack power", I think there are few other passives that also increase the damage of Storm Ruler. Like in all the other boss fights you get one or two weapons you actively use and the rest are the passives to boost them so saying that gear becomes redundant is wrong.
Gaping jaw is definitely not the greatest. Constant aoe spam and running around is so annoying to deal with. I think base augur was annoying for melee characters because of "flying away" and enhanced Gaping Jaw does exactly that thing too.

Gaping Jaw will actually run towards you, unlike the Jelly fish who only flies away from you. I'd say Gaping Jaw is way more enjoyable for melee than Jelly fish.
