Missing basic stuff from Grounded 1

What you're looking for is more of an add-on! What else is there left if you take everything from Grounded 1? Only the buggies as a new feature! Why bother with molars or XP? Your character is already maxed out in all areas. But Grounded 2 isn't an add-on, it's a “new” game. A new location where you can and must develop your character. And that's the core of these games: you develop a character!

I am not "looking for" any sort of add on. Grounded 2 is not just a "new game", it is a direct continuation of Grounded 1. Same characters, same story arch. Logically, it makes sense that the characters would have retained the information they learned in the first game. Assuming you learned basic math in elementary school, it's fair to assume that you would have retained that information later in life and you don't have to relearn it.

Grounded 2 is not supposed to be a copy and paste of Grounded 1, it seems that's what you're looking for. Grounded 2 should not be offering a majority of reused recipes that we already learned in the first game. Honestly, there should more more new or at least modified recipes.

If you think that everything in Grounded 2 is just everything from Grounded 1...then why would Grounded 2 even exist? The games are great, and they chose to continue the story of the same four main characters. If Grounded 2 had four completely new main characters, then it would be more reasonable for them to have to relearn every recipe.

Personally, I choose not to have to relearn how to walk with every new step I take. :welpface:
Print out a set of instructions, look at them whenever you want to build the thing they instruct you to build each time it breaks over (cannonically) a couple months, now get back to me 3 years later and see how well you still remember all those tiny little details that make it work right.
