yeah they updated it in house i think once in 1997, and then there's a bunch of fans who've taken the code and tried to get the AI to work even better - and that's turned out to be a WHOLE lot of work hahah

No idea about Switch II, but Nintendo can go pound that up their A** sideways!

They cut Multiplayer for no good reason, then MAGICALLY switch II gets it? they won't allow the Switch to connect now that A viable connection can be established?

Nope! no good reason there either! & Don't give me the "The Hardware can't support it" there's A multitude of higher end games that function fine with FULL Multiplayer, this is just BS in my book.

That aside.

The biggest downside is going to be updates, Nintendo is NOTORIOUS for their strict online content upload requirements & this pushes updates & content off from the PC versions, so you'll find yourself frequently out of date vs PC crowd.

If you use cross save, this will effect that as well & result in incompatible saves.

Fun to see that we have seen the same issue in so many games in the past 15 years. And some companies STILL do the same error.

Remember how SWTOR launched and the End Game was not even present, some of the planet were more 'placeholder' than anything fully though through. At the time, they though they had time to finish those areas before players would reach them. Just that should be a lesson enough to any companies.

And many others over the years. A game can be launched (as Early Access with an Early Access cost) in that state, but customers are not going to forget being given an half baked pizza with no topping and low quality tomato mix that has already spent a week out of the fridge...

Knowing Funcom projects, I’m literally ready to throw my money at new content for this game. I own every single Conan DLC, and I’m still upset about its fate — it was brilliant, even if the lore itself sucked. The same goes for Dune: the core idea is amazing. I just hope the sacrifice of Conan becomes the boost needed to turn Dune into a perfect longplay game — something you can come back to anytime, enjoy a fresh chapter, and then return to real life until the next one.
