It seems like a good idea for now. At the moment, it's not possible to go fishing. I have all the employees carrying out actions, but even then I still don't get around to fishing. Something has to change in this situation.

Deactivate it and check the differences. Also make screenshots it wil help you and us to get a better picture of the issue.

I really don't remember so it could be. That would fix my concern for sure. Thanks for reminding me about the market we can build. Hopefully it will still be in the game.

Did you remove mech hive from the factions or complete the odyssey mechhive quest?

You may exit to desktop and play it again. I did it once when I entered chapter 2

I currently have this game installed on a Linux and on a Windows 11 machine. Both work.

Scripts work.
Save/Loads work.
Barney opening the door for me.
Vanilla install (no 'mods'). New Anniversary build.

Without knowing your hardware/software/peripherals/drivers ... and what kind of custom security settings and OS config you have (something might intervene with the game scripts, exe, dll) there is no way of knowing what causes your issue on your end.

The last time I saw a game-script 'break' (not working) was because of a 32-bit compiled LUA script, trying to run on a 64-bit CPU/OS. That was ages ago ... and it was not HL.

//btw - I am not going to 'remote troubleshoot' your issue. Someone else may have that kind of time. Sorry. :)
