If the equipment is too damaged, it doesn't do a full 15 points of repair. You have to micromanage the durability and repair it at the optimal time if you want to make full use of it.

If the sand transfer were a gravitational effect like the game seems to imply, the roof wouldn't matter. It's more of a...sand tornado or something where you can dash through fast enough to stand in the eye of the storm.

But I can't remember any hints about that fact even though it's the one that you need to solve the puzzle.

It's kinda tricky because the game mostly NEEDS it to be second to last puzzle you solve since it gives away the whole plot. But at the same time you find out basically everything you need to know to solve it potentially very early in the game, and it just feels like the solution was to make implementation completely unintuitive.

I think they learned from it though, the DLC puzzles are all better

LOL, the answer is staring you in your very own text. Gravity works through walls, and ceilings. Why is this so confusing? Why would you expect this gravitational pull not
to work on you? This has gotta be bait.

That's THE POINT.

I'd expect to be flying upwards in the air but that isn't what happens in the game.


My reasoning is this:

Teleporters are triggered by you walking on them.

Therefore they're triggered by weight somehow presumably, or at least contact in some way.

Given this assumption, can you offer an explanation of how the solution actually works? Or are my assumptions here wrong?[\spoiler]

Article says that CD ProjeKt Red made male V default 5 foot 9 inches but "players can adjust their character’s height to a maximum of 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm) or a minimum of 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm)." To be honest I think I missed that bit in the options during character creation.
