Because this is the thread on announcements for the entire franchise. Hate it all you want, but bringing up that AoE3 has been done dirty is very much on topic.

Sounds like the team is taking all of the feedback very seriously. Can't believe only 20 people made all of this, pixel art is such a daunting task and to have it looks and play this good is a huge achievement and shows how talented the people working there are. For sure movement was the biggest issue in the Beta and it seems like that and body blocking is going to be fixed first which is great to hear. I really love how combat feels, no spamming or thoughtless actions, every skill matters and timing is key. I could see what they're going for and once they iron out all the kinks this is going to be an outstanding MMO. Granted they keep the MTX completely P2W free and the sub idea that they have isn't insane pricing wise. Can't wait for the 2nd beta test to see how much they have improved since the first one.
