cause there is no argument, if you cannot understand how kris directly being referred to by 'they' is the same as 'he' or 'she' for other characters then that is a clear lack of understanding on your part, not the games.

to demand a higher level of expectation for the one identity you dislike and not for every other character shows a bad faith argument, simple as.

Until Toby Fox (And yes he is the word of god because he created the game) says his canonical gender I will continue to think Kris's gender is left up to interpretation

if its a matter of "opinion" then so are asgore, and susie, but of course that is a silly argument to make, cause for all 3 of them they are singularly referred to as what they are, to pretend otherwise is silly.

toby fox wrote the game my man, they gave kris their pronouns, to try to pretend after 4 chapters and nearly 50 refrences that its still "confusing" is just embarrassing, gotta say.
