While I say this after each update, I could not be more impressed with this development team. The communication, care, and sincerity of your efforts is not lost on us. I cannot possibly describe the amount of fun I have had playing 1,000 hours of this game so far. I've made new friends through the multiplayer application. In addition, at the ripe old age of 51, I have enjoyed explaining game play to much younger gamers. For those of us who grew up on Adventure, Zork, the original Flight Simulator 1.0, etc.... This has been fun.

"Chaos god of Order" is such as oxymoron

any character can use pulley crossbow effectively since it scales with nothing but rarity and effects and it's a solid ranged option even without projectile dropoff / ranged dmg bonuses; it might as well be a legendary drop in lieu of any legendary crossbows. For the same reasons that having a type-effective weapon doesn't matter if you can't actually hit the enemy with it, a type-ineffective weapon matters quite a bit if you can frequently hit the enemy with it. It's why Ironeye is so universally strong - he just does consistent damage with no strings attached to anything but his bow.

ED gladius, is a boss with annoying zoning and dashing attacks that reduce the value of melee weapons considerably, is more predictable when baiting his attacks from a distance, and split dog phase loves hitting you from offscreen unless you let them come to you instead of running up and inevitably getting flanked. this is, coincidentally, terrible for Executor whose cursed sword stance is wide open for this, is slow to enter and exit, and also gets hefty stamina costs at the minimum for trying to block some of the main dog's sword swipes+explosions instead of just rolling out of the way.

ergo, pulley crossbow is a pretty good idea. might as well play bootleg ironeye instead of waiting around for the handful of moves that are safe to approach and punish, and for the few moves that ARE safe for Executor to call out with deflects, it still builds up stance dmg even at a distance.

all this aside, if he didn't still have a status weapon for cases like crits where getting a proc is practically free, then he is very silly

1. as mentioned above; press ESC to pause the game in single-player. that's not a bug.
2. the game is Early Access, meaning it's clearly -not- a finished game. that's not a bug.
3. no one told you to spend $20 on it dude. not a bug, just you being pissy.
4. the game is made by ONE human being, who has a very finite number of hours in a day to work on things, just like you do. take a breath, my man. it's just a game. a $20 game. not a $770 AAA game. a game made by one single person. again: not a bug.

are there ACTUAL bugs in this game? for sure. but those things? not bugs.

Oh it 100% could be a fake to cause panic among players, but as for the timing, the entire process only took 23 seconds, not 23 seconds later the Console was destroyed. I'm also curious why taking out the outer Pentashield brought the entire thing down, but that could go to the assertion that Pentashield damage is causing Console damage.

You're not understanding something here. The notes at the end do not show that someone has started attacking, it will only how when something is destroyed. So the first notice is the moment the first shield was destroyed. The second is for the exact moment the second is destroyed and so on. So it does not matter how long the attack goes on, it is only showing when the shields and console got destroyed. Thus if the video was true to the notes at the end, then you would see each shield go down separately and multiple seconds apart instead of all at once.

As for what he is saying about them attacking their own base, look at the compass on the top of the screen. It is showing an icon for their base as being straight down and 77 meters away, which is the base they are "attacking". The compass does not show other player bases, so that is actually his own base. The video is faked.

Yep it performed very strongly even against top 0.0000000001% in toppest tourneys. In fact, EVERYONE who switched to "M" got his best results EVER. Some results:

- Just when the game was one month old, against 3+ decades controls, Haitani got #5 on EVO '23. Best result he ever got BY FAR. For reference he got #64 EVO'24 when he went back to Classic, and #192 EVO Japan 2025.
- Tachikawa got #3 on biggest tourney ever, Esports World Cup 2024. He switched back to C and already eliminated yesterday. It's a total joke.
- XiaoHai lost to a totally random unknown player, who was even using "bottom one" Lily. Evo Japan.
- Kakeru (Capcom Cup 2025 winner) lost to a random "M" Ken in EVO Japan.
- Infexious dominating as you mentioned.
- Of course there is that NYChrisG with his "M" Mai. Which carried him from low 64th spot to as high as 1st and fifth.
- Nephew, AngryBird, Leshar, Mena and more all lost to it too, in top major tourneys.
- Some more I forgot and/or missed.

It is a total joke. 🤣

While I appreciate your time to write down all that list, I would have to ask for the actual statistics because I had a hard time looking for one.

As far as I know, many players change from Modern to Classic as they climb the ranks simply because the Classic gives them more chance to win and hence climb more ranks. If Modern is really as good as you say, why would Haitani and Tachikawa go back to Classic after trying out Modern? If Modern > Classic, then 100% pro players would switch to Modern. All of them. No nostalgia and no "But I've been using Classic for decades!" would excuse them from using a supposedly inferior tool in a world tournament.

If you want your statistics, you should spend the time and do the due diligence not me.

But I am not sure why you are derailing the discussion to begin with. My point is clear: broken crutch has over-performed in even top tourneys and I did give evidence. It was in response to that other poster.

Nostalgia is definitely a valid factor and it's not even "nostalgia". Someone who spends three+ decades practicing an instrument is not going to dump it completely. The fact is, once they switched to M they got their best results (by very far). That's the only fact we have, rest is you making up your own assumptions to fit your narrative while I present facts and evidence.

But even your "100% of pro players will switch to M" has very weak logic behind it. Is this why not all of them are playing the top 1 character, and we are seeing even Manon in EWC today?
