And this is the sole reason why I won't buy BF6.
This anti-cheat is so invasive that you can very easily break your PC or Installation and I simply do not have the time or nerve to completely redo my PC from scratch after reconfiguring BIOS over and over and over again until my PC finally decides to boot again.
Maybe enabling secure boot doesn't do anything and it runs smoothly.
But also maybe it destroys my Windows installation or something else that makes me unable to work, which would be an absolute nightmare for me right now.
So why would I bother even trying?
I can live without BF6, I can't live without a job.

This had nothing to do with the Battlefield uninstaller and is entirely the fault of the user improperly using 3rd party software.

True and also not true, I feel like I definitely shouldve been more cautious about the software I was using to remove the residual anti cheat files, but the fact that there is residual files left over with such a high clearance level even after clicking uninstall is an issue in my eyes.

Yeah, it might still be a while yet before ANY game company can make a proper CPU opponent that doesn't need cheats to hang with a human player. Heck, why has no one thought about using that learning AI stuff for CPU opponents in games like this? It's one area where such AI could be useful rather than a threat to civilization.

I can't complete any contracts. Because your servers don't reload the open world. I only have control point captures, all other events in the open world are missing.
I'm constantly resetting the open world to do quests for resources or exotic components, I've never had such glitches as I do now. I don't need checkpoints, they're boring. Bring back a living open world, not a dead map!

I have 2 gates left and right from the direct "impact point" on the wall. They are somewhat far, but not THAT far. I hope they won't go for the gate, because i only reinforced (spikes) the front section of the wall where I expect them to attack
Will see if I have time to do the rest before they come, just to be sure

I also rushed and made both of my fighters reinforced gambesons, and one of them even have a lvl III helmet and pauldrons. That should definitely count for something right?
My char is also geared up and have the first iron axe which already hits like a truck and could slay a bear with it.

For the first invasion you seem more than ready. You may lose a few wall pieces or villagers, but for a first invasion, that is expected. Have a couple archers armed and in each tower and you should be just fine.
Note that they will absolutely go for the gates. The AI loves gates, but they will stand in the spikes next to the gate and take damage, so have spikes on both sides of the gates.
Throwing a few flimsy fences randomly in their line of approach also draws their attention and while they stand there swinging at the fences, your archers will pick them off as well.

update that doesnt do ♥♥♥♥, thats so big itll take me a week to install? what the ♥♥♥♥, the hardcorded binds were bad enough. hardcoding easy baby ♥♥♥♥ into older saves is even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupider

yeah I'm looking for miner reactors now. Honestly I'm doing fine with 4 large fusion reactors (purple) and a huge ardronian battery but I thought I'd find something more efficient or one that "fits" the cruiser. Now I see you just stack em.

Nothing is as efficient as an Ardonian Huge Battery for energy storage.
