I was not attacking you and it was never my intention to make you feel you've been attacked, so if you feel that way, I'm deeply sorry for that.

But - and just in case: no attack here - this is not a 'dead game', it's a finished, functioning game.

Your question has already been answered, but I have another tip for you (in case you didn't know) that might be helpful:

If you go to this game's store site and then click on the dev's name, you'll get to their page, where you can see all of their games. There, you will also find upcoming releases, if they have announced a new game.

Unfortunately nothing you can do but abandon the run and do the challenge again. Three or more monuments with the Stone Gaze artifact chained off the center forces CTDs, so be careful until this is fixed. I know it sucks but similar happened to me, had to redo a challenge despite being granted a Steam achievement.

I'm another member of the crash parade. I'm getting a crash on both my PC and the Steam Deck, so I don't think the problem is on my end. I've never had a crash prior to the current DLC, which is 300+ hours.

If the band owns a registered trademark for Slackjaw in a category that cover video games, or anything close to software / entertainment software, they could send a cease and desist. If they believe this game could confuse consumers into thinking its connected to them.

But I think this is not the case, risk is lower, it might cause confusion, but I don't think there will be any lawsuit.

It's not just, I'll lawsuit, its a very complicated process, at max the band could ask for a name change, which I also don't think it will be the case. It's unrelated content.
