you should have unlocked it through the missions cause it gives you the key to play in drain map so go to the microwave and see if draingage is added to your level select

No, it's not a bug though, this is intentional on EAs part, they even uploaded a "guide" to teaching people how to change it.

huh why wouldn't they simply use kernel level anticheat that doesn't require secure boot (kinda like how every other game does it)?

Most mods were broken by the Aquatica update. If you want to play with mods, it's highly recommended you install the PreAquatica beta. That reverts your game installation to a version before Aquatica came out, and it should run much more smoothly and support all the mods it did at that time. If you have self only on an ability and you're controlling a class, you shouldn't have to click a target mid fight, then click on yourself, back and forth to use the ability, just pressing the ability should activate it on yourself. Unless this is purposeful to emulate another mmo? Seems like a nice little quality of life that probably isn't too hard to add.

Tbpf, So few players probably worry about the individual skills of their monsters in that capacity...I imagine most don't even control their own mobs (i know I only have a couple of times), and leave it to the AI to Harass the players.

I can see species mods for this game, to add birds and reptiles, but that'd require modding support from the devs, one can dream.
