the easy answer is "storage priority"
just set the containers on the ship to a higher priority than the one you normally use.

in general you should never rely on critical on any type of storage that always requires content to fulfill a function (like the paste dispenser). making this a viable approach for loading the ship

Ah beans. Yeah, I think I remember that the mod was not properly activated when I created my save ... I thought the ressources and laws would show up once you unlock them, but started a new save and they're were there from the start...
Alright, time to start a new save and play it 1945 again!
