I don't think Obsidian is making AAA games.

As far as I can see, Obsidian has ~300 employees, but several games under development at any one time. AAA developers seem to have maybe 300 per game (Larian had about 400 in the process of making BG3.) So I don't think Obsidian needs massive sales numbers. It's probably operating in the same sort of area as Rebellion Games (Sniper Elite, Atomfall), making more mid-market games which need only a fraction of the income of blockbusters like Starfield or BG3 to make a profit

And if they are operating on budgets that much smaller, you can expect that their cloth is going to have to be cut to the size of their coat accordingly.

3rd person was never an option in Cyberpunk and it wasn't really planned.

That's not really true, early footage suggested the game was third person, and there's various things that back up the idea that the game was supposed to be third person very early on. At some point early in development, or specifically in 2016 according to Schreier, they made the shift to the more immersive first person perspective.

I've got the auto credit scroll but also another bug--on map 2 of heatwave I can't use ERWIN to recycle more than once, making the level impossible to finish without using the debug options. I also cannot find a way to make him go up hills. Are you supposed to use logs to make roads up height differences for him? Because while he animates like he's going up, he gets stuck anyway.

Some of my components are 6-7 years old, play on a I9 9900K, 4070 Ti, 64gb RAM... zero crashes or issues. Game runs a lot of the time at my cap 165fps with RTX turned on to High. Can also run it on Ultra RTX, but then malevolents and 2+ ines on the team just tank my fps under 60 and that's a bit too choppy. No crashing, no issues otherwise.

I'm starting to see the pattern here with you guys. First off, consider going off of AMD components, they just have overall worse support than Intel/Nvidia - always have and always will, looks like. Second, the game also seems to have issues with newer components only with latest drivers - consider a rollback to an older, stable version.

That could be due to the walkthrough, as well. They often tell the solution but not how to arrive at the revelation.

I had similar thoughts while struggling with the DLC, but once I stumbled upon the clues for the things I originally had to look up, it all made perfect sense.

In my opinion, the same goes for the base game. I did look up some things as well, but in hindsight everything is logical and I *could* have found out myself. With a little more patience, perhaps.
