Yo, first of all I wanted to say that it’s a fun game. Even if it’s a bit wonky and amateurish, it’s still enjoyable. It’s really weird that a theme with so much potential has basically been relegated to only MP and park builders

Now, I’ve got a few ideas i thought of I’d like to throw out there, since the dev seems rather active

First of all, since there are already lots of bushes all over the maps, I thought an easy way to diversify gameplay between carnivores and herbivores could be to let the herbs eat plants when they’re near them. Since there’s more of an abundance, they could give less health and growth (for ascension), but herbs wouldn’t be able to eat meat. They’d be able to regenerate smaller chunks of health easier, while a carnivore could regenerate more per meal but would have to actively hunt for it

Also, just a pet peeve of mine, I’d replace the bugs with some other small dinosaur, like a Laellynasaura or a Microceratus. They feel a bit out of place

Second, this game has great potential as a single player pseudo-sandbox. Maybe a mode like the current ascension but with a much bigger map, plus food and water bars that deplete HP when empty. Add in random dinosaurs of varying sizes and levels, remove the growth limit, and I think it would make a good “let the player make their own fun” mode. Of course, Remove the constant tracking so you could actually run away and you don't end up a hatchling getting chased by a Rex halfway across the map, or maybe make predators uninterested until you become threatening.
But i get if that’s out of scope

(I still think ascension should have bigger maps and more prey spawning though, since right now it’s basically one level per kill even if you farm bugs)

Another suggestion for current ascension is to add skills or something we can buy between matches. Maybe add a cooldown between dino spawns, and let the player buy the usual pseudo-RPG stat upgrades, like increased attack for a move type, movement speed, defense, etc. just to increase variety between matches. Even between different classes they can feel samey after a while.
Or maybe revamp it into a bigger roguelike mode, for example starting only with a Compy and unlocking bigger dinos as you defeat them in new runs, buying skills and upgrades that persist between matches. Also randomize enemy spawns into brackets: for example, small dinos like Protoceratops, Compys, and raptors could appear at player levels 1–5, while end-game spawns would be Rexes, Gigas, Ankylos, and so on, just so it's not exactly a linear progression

Third, I think adding a third separate basic move for characters could greatly improve variety. Maybe some kind of claw swipe separate from the bite for bipedals, which could have different stats. Deinocheirus and Spinosaurs could have higher clawing but lower bite damage, for example. For quadrupeds, maybe some kind of defensive stance to improve defense?
Another move idea, straight from The Isle, the infamous “sit down to passively regen health”, because right now, due to spawn rates, when you’re low on health it turns into a “run around the arena looking for a bug to eat” simulator

Some dinos could also benefit from timed special moves, an easy one to suggest is Dilo’s venom a la JP.

Finally, I’d ask for some smaller-to-medium sauropod, since that’s basically the only normal dinosaur class that’s absent. Something like Plateosaurus or Saltasaurus would be great

I’d also like to report a bug, mostly model-related, and suggest a “lore-accurate" easy fix. Right now, dinos love glitching out once you grab them, sometimes flying up into the air or clipping under the map. I thought it might work better to disable grabbing onto the main body entirely, and instead only allow tearing off flesh chunks and limbs. It’s a bit unrealistic for a Raptor to latch onto and drag a Rex around anyway.
Maybe the player could focus on different parts of the body, similar to the current targeting mode. The main body could work as: bite it → you eat it → it turns into a carcass, which can be eaten a few more times before disappearing. It would even add some strategy, a player could save a carcass for later healing, but risk having it stolen, the main carcass could give back more health, while limbs give smaller portions

Yeah, that’s about all I can think of. Props again to the game, which, as far as I know, is made by a one-man team. I hope it doesn’t end up like so many other dino games on Steam...

i dunno the build seems to work just fine, i have a total of 7 careers on rice shower, most of which were not the guts build.

Oh yeah i did end up managing the fken 1100 power in the end, the answer turned out to be the new winning ticket, but yeah she only had some 700 speed.
If you like playing Nice Nature that much, why didn't you upgrade her to potential Level 5? At level 4, she has a stamina skill to help out your run. You're racing more than you should and take on unnecessary skills. Are you training for CM or support character in team trials? One deck doesn't work with all the character because of the differences in growth bonuses.

You want an deck for ace training, and a deck for support. The friendship card you're using is bad, because provides little to no value. It's only used when you capped out on stats. Did you finish any event in the past or you just started out? I can't see your whole deck so it's hard for me to help not knowing what you have. Do you memorize all the events, which options give stats or mood up/down, or energy? Can't just be picking random stuff that give guts instead of speed.

You're racing too much. Focus more on training and set tangible goals. Borrow 9* stamina/speed when training ace. Use your own sparks when training support, or when farming sparks/sashes. Simple goals like 600+ speed by 2nd year, 800+ speed by end of summer year 3. You'd only want to race a lot of you're farming for upgrades, but if you're not winning, you're just wasting time and in game resources. Additonal racing should only be done when you're ahead of training schedule.
