Also the F-14s main job would be to target the bombers first as they would be the bigger threat to the CVBG. Then either switch to Sparrow or withdraw and allow friendly fighters to handle the Mig threat. Mainly in the late 80s-90s that would be the Hornets job.

That's the thing: if that's their job why aren't they using AIM-54s for that.

I mean, I'm taking a half empty carrier into the GIUK gap, so we can throw logic out the window anyway...but still.

Hi, installed the game fresh after seeing the recent update. Trying to test on how to recreate the issue but theres nothing consistent about it. At random times the screen will appear frozen but the screen is dissolves into a assorted bucket of pixels (no streaking or movement noticed) or its just the last image it froze on (I can still quick save and alt f4 out and reload and its fine).

Thanks for reporting this - it’s definitely an unusual issue, and we haven’t encountered it before.
We're currently working on a new bug reporting system that will make it easier to track problems like this in the future. In the meantime, it would be a big help if you could send us the log file - you can usually find it in your Documents folder (C:\[...]\Documents\Alersteam\Exoplanet First Contact\system.log).

We’ll take a close look - there might be something in there that helps us understand what’s going wrong with the game state. Thanks again for your support and patience!

There's been plenty of new faces in these threads almost every day. Plus god knows how many lurkers who just read through the threads but don't join the discussion.

'new faces' does not equal 'people who are undecided' I am explicitly asking you for an example of someone who appears to be undecided.

Just to pick a few. And I don't think it's fair to handwave the lurkers. I lurk ina lot of forums reading up on whether or not a game is worth buying without ever leaving comments. especially when looking at EA games I will specifically look for threads like "how far along is this game" or "full release when" etc.

Not exactly because they fill different roles.

A burn team wants: Dark Flame, burn count spreading, and Liu Yi Sang....that's basically it, it's very straightforward. You get the Dark Flame from MB Outis and her EGO, you get burn count spread from either Dawn Office Sinclair or Firefist gregor. Everything else is according to taste. You only need the burn count spread for mob fights, and you can get around that by just not using a burn team for those, although Dawnclair and Firefist are both great anyway so you may as well use one.

Everyone else is basically according to taste, Liu Yi Sang is at the head of the queue because not only is he just very Good Stuff but he provides the kind of SP support you'd normally get from the bench, while on the field. He helps a lot if you run Dawnclair, but it's really good even if you don't.

Liu Ryoshu is merely decent; she clashes well and deals okay damage, but doesn't really stay as a serious contender once you have more IDs to choose from. Unless, that is, you have Red Eyes and Fourth Match Flame, in which case between those two and Forest for the Flames, she's actually a rather impressive EGO spam machine. Timing 4MF's passive with her S3 does funny burn application.

i actually have both those egos and liu ryoshu, and kinda can't get firefist gregor til next season. i also don't have dawnclair. I just want to have a new team to run over just alternating between rupture and bleed in mirror dungeons. I mostly just use rupture or bleed to clear story content.

Putting a single setting to "LOW" causes the game to be unplayable...
You are unable to see the foxglove or ANY vegetation in this setting.

Stuff takes time. Talk about entitlement derangement syndrome - at some point you're hyperventilating hyperbole so much that you're just not being even remotely factual anymore.

It's okay to be passionate, but you've become so accustomed to exaggerrating everything that you just post lies - and that ain't healthy.

How am I lying? Please elaborate.

They said, "We're working on things". Haven't given a roadmap nor a time frame. Then I see people constantly using the excuse "It's a small development studio". And no, none of my posts are exaggerated nor lies.

Things take time, but not patching things, nor making slight adjustments nor even hotfixes for bugs and bad coding in the game. Multiple games have been released by much smaller studios, and they don't wait over a month to patch significant issues. Mean while the game has lost most of it's playerbase.

Unfortunately people like you plaque the game forums and defend the developers and game till the bitter end, and then tell everyone they are gas lighting and lying. The poor reviews and the mass exiting of players from this game prove my points and hundreds of other who complain about the game on a daily.

Very strange.
