Specifically allow us to add keybinds to enter menus, and allow us to choose imperial or metric for categories (temp, distance, etc).

The lack of *any* real options is quite disappointing, especially the slow UI navigating via mouse only.

The game has a lot of detail, but once you streamline the fine details into broad categories, you'll do fine. I had a hard time with diet morale at first as well, but then it smooths out.

I'd say, for new players they struggle the most, because they have to deal with:

- Basic physical combat mechanics (stagger, daze, immobilize, knockback, knockback-into-wall-which-is-daze, double-daze-equals-stun, etc)
- Hunger, thirst, fatigue
- Morale, sanity (and all 12 different Psyche which some of them will pop up when you least expect them - as a new player that is)
- Finance
- Bodypart damage and Protection based on different body parts
- Skill rotations
- Spell backfire mechanics (hardly any game out there has something like this, most just teach you to fire and forget)
- Ranged combat accuracy issues
- Dodge, block, partial dodge and partial block, block power etc
- Enemies AI (they're not stupid)
- Dungeon mechanics (entrances get locked post-completion)
- Limited inventory space

So on and on and on...

Therefore, I highly encourage new players to ask questions instead of complain, the latter serves no purpose other than discouraging yourself.

the jumping when resurfacing annoyed me soooo much when I played thru it on launch. bugged SO many times... I understand that frustration. but game is amazing, push thru.
